Alex Sandro Silva Pereira, born on July 7, 1987, is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist and former kickboxer. He holds the titles of UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, UFC Middleweight Champion, Glory middleweight and light heavyweight champion, and is the first fighter to have held Glory titles in two weight classes simultaneously.

At the age of 21, Alex Pereira made a life-changing decision to start kickboxing training, which eventually led to unlocking unknown aspects of his heritage and identity.

In 2009, Alex Pereira started honing his striking skills in a gym near his home, which eventually led him to superstardom in the world of kickboxing.

In 2012, Alex Pereira became the Jungle Fight Middleweight Champion.
