Derrick Rose

Derrick Martell Rose, also known as 'D-Rose', was born in Chicago on October 4, 1988. He is an American professional basketball player currently playing for the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA.

On March 9, 2006, Derrick Rose made it to the state championship in Illinois and won his first championship.

On May 26, 2007, Derrick Rose achieved his second consecutive state championship win by making it to his 2nd state championship in a row.
